I understand that we would select the latest date, which is (in this case) in the Wanneer Voorgestel column. The first column is the date of birth, the second column is the date of church member acceptance, and the third column is the latest or the church membership date.

Hi Roger, as I understand it, if there is no date in the 'Wanneer voorgestel' column, then use the column 'Wanneer aangekomen'.

If a member was not formal introduced 'voorgestel' (as a new member) of this specific church that you are indexing or validating, it makes sense to use the second option 'aangekomen' (came from another church somewhere else). The column on the right side of 'aangekomen' shows the place from where he/she/the family came from and it has nothing to do with the existing church you are indexing or validating.

    Hope that helps

Hi Al, you are most welcome and if you get stuck again, just ask. If I don't know, we can both learn from other.
