Is there a way to see WHY FamilySearch thought someone should be added to the tree?
I have several instances where FamilySearch added more people to my tree, but didn't attach any sources, reasons, or explanations. It is really frustrating. Can we see how the justified the match? They were so excited about this AI generated tree at RootsTech, but as far as I can see, it is just more garbage to sift through. An example is Claus Rode MM66-RTS was added as the father of Reimer H Rohe KPQC-DGZ. There is NO justification for this. I have thoroughly combed through FamilySearch and Ancestry records, but there is nothing to prove or even suggest a relationship. The only birth for someone with Reimer's and Claus' names is 50 years before Claus was even born.

What I see in the Latest Changes for Reimer indicates a specific user added Claus as father (not FamilySearch). Thus you can message that person by clicking on their username (select Message button) - and ask about their records or Sources for the connection of Claus as father of Reimer.
There is one other result I find in Genealogies (from MyTrees.com) which indicates Reimer's middle name is Henrich (not that it's related to your question - but gives you another potential collaborator to attempt contacting - if you haven't already).

I deleted my previous post. I misread your names. EDIT: I do recommend you take @genthusiast 's advice and message the person who added the father record. It is possible that a German record that is not digitized and is copyrighted may be a source. That would be an exciting find if that is the case.

"AI generated tree"??
As far as I know, FamilySearch hasn't been adding profiles to the Tree in over a decade now, so I am not surprised to see that you have misunderstood what happened. As genthusiast said, the relationship was added by a fellow user, a year and a half ago; FamilySearch had absolutely nothing to do with it, beyond providing the platform. (You might want to edit your alert note to reflect this fact.)

@JulieSDuMond Previous to the new relationship between Claus and Reimer, all the changes to Claus were made in 2012, which is when the Family Tree was seeded by existing genealogies submitted to FamilySearch. These "creations" were basic data input from someone else's work and it contained no references to sources.
As stated above, you need to contact the user who added the relationship added between Claus and Reimer in 2021 to discuss he did that. I hope that helps. Maile 🙂
