Hello, here is the batch number I'm working on...

US, New York, Schenectady—Index to Land Records, Grantors, 1891–1901 [Part A][MQQD-3RD]

What should I put when it says "Will of" on a grantee entry?

For instance, look at the image where the grantor's last name is Ellis (Charles G). There is a big checkmark right by his given name. Over on the GRANTEE side, it says "WILL OF". Should I put BLANK or Charles G Ellis? I've been trying to find instructions about this and haven't found anything.

Thanks for helping me.

You should enter the name Charles G Ellis and ignore the words "will of" since they are descriptive.

The direction is in the field helps:

When typing the name of the grantor or assignor, do not include descriptive words or terms, such as "by Atty," "et al," "wife," "heirs," "and spouse," or "trust" that may have been written with the name.
