Record a Story
If I want to have one of my grandchildren record a story on Record a Story, it goes to my Memories. I want it to go to their Memories. I don't see any way to tag it with their ID number.
Is there some way we can identify the person who is about to make a recording on Record a Story? Or is their some way it can be moved from my Memories to their Memories?

Go to Memories> Gallery> Audio tab:
Then when you select the audio file you can add who is contained in - or to whom the Memory is attached:
You will be listed as the file creator/contributor - but the Memory will be attached to whomever you tag.
If you have your grandchild's profile (in your Private Living Space) - you can attach the audio to that profile's Memories tab> Add Memories button> Audio.
If you use the FamilySearch Memories mobile app (Android or iPhone) you can also attach it to your Living Space profile ID of them:
If however you want to attach the Memory to their Living Space profile ID - you will need them to login (on the web or mobile app) and do these steps (you cannot access their Private Living Space profile ID). The difference is that you will have access to your Private Living Space ID of them and they will have access to their Living Space ID of themselves (their primary ID). Sorry if this is confusing - but this is also a reason why sharing Memories in Family Groups would be advantageous (this type of sharing feature is supposed to become available in 2023).

Does your grandchild have an account in which he/she is connected to the world tree and you and him/her share a deceased ancestor? If so, you can have the child record a story on your account. Save it to your memories. Tag it to the deceased person, your shared ancestor that is in your grandchild's lineage as well. Have your grandchild log in and retag the memory to his or her memories. If the audio does not apply to the deceased person you share with your grandchild, remove the tag to delete it that person's memories.
