Make Collaborate like Memories

Please set up Collaborate with the same format as Memories. I am constantly contacting different people to see if two different "Persons" are duplicates or family or etc. However, I can only contact people who have added sources or names/etc. There are plenty of other people working on different Person pages who have not yet added anything.

To do this, I have to write a "Collaborate" post, then copy it to each of the different Person pages. Then I have to contact each individual who has posted and ask them to go to both pages and check them out.

I am so sick of doing this that I have started posting questions and comments to Memories instead of Collaborate. That way every single person and family member that we want to address is all linked in one place. The only problem is people working on these family members may think the info is just memories (and not requests for help).

If Collaborate were set up like Memories, we could easily click on all the people's names and go directly to their pages. Soooo much better.

For example, see GVP1-22G and MMC9-TK6's Memories (though hopefully we will figure that out soon, and maybe they will be merged!).

Question for clarification of your Idea: It seems you are wanting the Collaborate tab to tag multiple person/profile IDs - so that they can be compared and polled by a Family Group - before Duplicate Person/Merge hints are allowed to proceed - is this a correct interpretation of your Idea? If so, I think such may be in the works with the Family Groups feature. I like the Idea/workflow of getting such responses from Family Group contributors before merging of Duplicates would take place (merging of supposed duplicates should be done carefully so as to not conflate profiles that actually are not duplicates). Your Idea of being able to tag or specify the possible duplicates in question within a Note/Discussion is a great Idea! (+1 hopefully the Idea will carryover into whatever FamilySearch implements within Family Groups.)
