What happens to discussions during the record restoration process
I have a family in my line that was born and died (1670-1704 time frame) in England. Their record has been merged into another family of the same name that was born and died in New Hampshire. During the merge the discussions from each of the families were merged into the record of the remaining person. That record now has in the discussions from my family that provides the location of birth, marriage, and death source document combined with the discussions that support the BMD of their family members.
I understand that Discussions can only be removed by the person or persons that added them to the record. When I restore my family records will the original discussions be returned during the restoration process or will I have to take additional actions to remove the incorrect discussions from the now "current" record and attach them to my families restored record?

I went and tested this on the beta site: I merged two guys, each with a discussion, then merged their wives so that "unmerge" would be unavailable, and then restored the merge-deleted profile. The discussions were each restored to their original locations. (The parent-child and spousal relationships were all messed up, though, so I recommend doing your best to undo bad merges in "last in, first out" order.)
