child's parents.
In relationships, there needs a "had child together" there are times when the parents were not married, yet they did have a child together. Perhaps it was a one time thing or something else, think slavery in the south, . There is no evidence that they lived together or perhaps we know they did not live together. We need to have a relationship tag for having a child together. It seems like whitewashing history to put "lived together" when all we know is that they had a child together and then, many times, each went on to marry different people.
Thank you for your time

If the parents did not have a relationship, you can simply enter them separately, using the "add parent" link.

Here is an illustration of how one can add a child to two (biological) parents without showing the parents to have been in a relationship with each other. In this instance, Francis Halls was married to another woman at the time of Thomas' birth / baptism. Both Francis and Maria remained unmarried after Francis' wife death in 1639, so I have assumed there was never a close relationship between the two:

The enslaved / enslaver relationship exists now. That is in Other Relationships, which they have put all the way at the bottom, for some obscure reason. To look at an example, KNH6-JQX is my enslaver ancestor and GFQH-DNY is "Negro Boy" mentioned in his will.

The problem with adding the child to each parent separately is that at some point "someone" will look at it and combine the parents. I still believe that there needs to be a tag that states that they had a child together to address this problem.

You can add a note, even make an alert note, stating that no relationship was found for the parents.
