I wish I had known to not include my married name. All the activities say my heritage according to husbands name which of course isn’t my heritage. He’s German and I’m Spanish.

The fluff offerings from FS get it wrong more often than not anyway, so you haven't lost anything. If you really want to find out about names, use a name dictionary or a website dedicated to names, not a genealogy site.

For surnames, the "Family Education" site's database has been basically accurate (modulo typos and weird character-encoding glitches) on all of the names I've looked up, although (of course) it's not complete for any language. (No, my names aren't there.)

For given names, BehindTheName generally summarizes the most current and scholarly thinking, rather than going off into fantasyland like other baby-name sites.

You can change your info to your maiden name in FamilySearch. How do I update the profile, email address, and other contact information on my account?
