How do I get an indexing error fixed.
The 1950 census Enumeration District 7-129 (Palmer, Massachusetts) has the images for sheets 23 and 24 reversed. This resulted in my family being mis indexed. My father is at bottom of sheet 22, but the next image is sheet 24 not sheet 23. This results in my mother and me not in the correct family. The Film # is 108994584.

To report the error:
While in that image, look on the left side of the screen and see if there is a vertical Feedback button available.
If so, click on it, and enter the information there so the engineers will be able to add it to an error spreadsheet. I don't know how they are fixing that particular error (I know it has occurred elsewhere in other states), or if they even can. But that is what we have been told to do.
FYI Note: Any additional questions/issues with already indexed projects, such as the 1950 Census, should be addressed in the Help/Search category. The Help/Indexing category is for projects currently being indexed.

Thank you for responding. But there is no feedback button.

Okay, I have pulled up the pages you are talking about and have the feedback button showing. Before I send it for you, I want to make sure I understand the situation correctly.
Page sequence is incorrect: 22, 24, 23
However, I'm unclear on the family grouping since there is no surname written at the top of page 23. I see Frank K, Jr and Helen Duffy (rows 29-30) at the bottom of page 22, and Frank (son) and Jane S (daughter) in rows 1-2 on page 23. This doesn't match your mention of you and your mother.
Please indicate the row number(s) on pages 22 and 23 and names of your household members that belong together.

My father Kenneth F Arnold is on page 24 row 30. My Mother Mary A (Wife) and Kenneth (Son) are on Page 25 rows 1-2.

I've changed the surnames where appropriate and sent the feedback about wrong order of the pages and the correct grouping of the Duffy and Arnold households. As I previously mentioned, I don't know if, or when, the software engineers will get to it (I'm not affiliated with FamilySearch, just a volunteer who worked on the census indexing). But, you should be able to attach the individual records for your mother and yourself to your tree.
