Can you write a sub-routine to show all of the green temples (not previously reserved) of ancestor?
I have been doing a lot of downline research to find "holes" where ordinances were only partially reserved, but the person's work was never completed. I use the descendant view to ensure that the people are all relatives. I look at each one to see if there are sources, and that all duplicates are taken care of. I then submit the work to the temple. I have found many people this way, but it occurs to me that it would be very simple to write a sub-routine that let me look at an ancestor and have the computer show me all linked descendants with unsubmitted temple work while skipping the people whose work was already done or submitted. It would be nice to have another sub-routine to check for yellow temples only or red exclamation marks only so I can do one type of work at a time. There is nothing to gain from hunting down the lines myself. In fact, it creates tremendous opportunity to miss people as the lines can be very confusing. We would still be caring for our ancestors individually, but taking out the wasted time. Your wonderful filters will help us find duplicates, or data problems with or without the sub-routine, but why waste time and effort when the work is so important?
