Another possible way to document that someone comes from a GEDCOM File

I know the whole GEDCOM import thing is a bit controversial. I personally have found some good possibilities to check out when someone has uploaded via a GEDCOM. The biggest problem I see is that "GEDCOM" is put into the field Reason this information is correct. I'd rather see this handled a different way as when I'm improving the data with real sources, I always have to erase the GEDCOM reason. I would suggest that attaching a source which let's everyone know the data came from a GEDCOM, and making it easy to then get to the submitter to faciliate analysis and dialog would be a better way to go. In fact, although it may not be a reliable source, the GEDCOM was in fact the source, and definitely not a valid "Reason this is correct." Perhaps you have already considered this idea. I'm just submitting it in case you have not considered it and found a problem with doing this.
