    Hi Elizabetta,

I am looking at the batch. The 166? number is not a date, it is the Final Certificate number. Knowing that still leaves the problem of the Mar, 17 1949 date for the Patent.

    The instructions state:

If multiple dates were given for the same transaction, index the most recent date.

That would indicate that the 1949 date should be used. The problem is that example # 1 in the main instructions does not follow this instruction.

The 1809 date that you have indexed appears to be the most logical date to use. You are not the only one struggling with this.

It would be really good if a moderator checked up on this .

A couple of other items, I believe the first name is Robt. short for Robert. I believe you would mark the prefix blank. The Dr. is part of the form, not part of the name.

Hope this is somewhat helpful. 🙂

Dr is an accounting term. It is the abbreviation for Debit.
