Unknown?

So, now when I click on a living family member I placed on My tree it says, "Unknown" . Why? I placed these people there because they are my adult children.

I assume you are using the same account / login details all the time. Some users have two accounts (or use one belonging to a family member) and would have this problem if viewing from an account other than the one in which it was created.

It could be a connectivity glitch that your browser is "helpfully" perpetuating. That "unknown" page is below or behind every profile page; it just gets overwritten by the actual contents, based on what the server finds about your account and about the profile itself. If your browser got impatient and didn't wait for the FS server's updates, and then saved that incompletely-loaded page in your cache, then you'd keep seeing the "unknown" page.

The easiest way to check whether this is the problem is to try it in a different browser. If it works there, then clearing your FS-related cache and cookies in the original browser should restore functionality.

Thanks for answering, but I have dumped my cache and cookies. I have even rebooted the computer along with using my laptop as a comparison and it does the same thing. I even have pages that nothing but a blank page comes up (scratching the top of my head). Its gotten real strange with the new FS pages coming up then the old FS pages. Just wondering if they are having issues.
