My family pictures have been posted on my Home Page from a foreign company. Why?
Would someone know why a company in a foreign country would post pictures of my family on my FamilySearch home page? I realize that the pictures that I post in my Gallery are open for public viewing, but I just wondered why they would be interested in posting the pictures on my home page, and if I should be concerned. Thanks for your help and input.

Two/three questions:
1. When you say foreign company - is that the user name of the poster of those photos you are referring to (the username is a foreign company name)?
2. When you say homepage - do you mean:
?
If the answers are both yes - then no it does sound a little strange and I wouldn't know why someone would do that.
3. Are you able to take a screenshot of the header of the photo post - where it shows the foreign name/the poster username (it might help people understand more of what you mean. You don't need to include the photo - just the foreign name info...)?

I assume you mean these kinds of pictures?
If so, then you first have to understand that no one is posting anything on your home page and no one has any access to your home page so you have nothing to worry about.
What occurs here, is that after another user, some of whom seem to have rather creative user names, posts a memory on the page of one of your relatives, which anyone can do, then the FamilySearch website program automatically recognizes that your relative has a new memory and notifies you on your homepage. This notification includes the memory which was posted on that relative's page.
Why would another user, usually a relative of yours, post a memory on one of your relatives? Because he or she has it and wants to share it.
Why would a family tree user pick a user name that make them look like some kind of foreign company? He or she probably just thought it was cute. Someone might be able to say more if you post the name of the "company."
