Index the occupation field

Many records from Great Britain are infused with a particular problem: there are simply too many John Smiths. The Welsh have a great solution -- they simply add the occupation to the surname.

Therefore, you'd have Williams the petroleum (gas station owner), Evans the death (undertaker), Davis the school, Jones the prize cabbage (sorry, this isn't an occupation!). This would be a boon to accurate research.

At present, I have been spending hours looking through film to find the father's occupation on christening records.

How handy and time-saving it would be to just find that on the person page! And re-indexing those English or Scandinavian projects (to include the profession) would be fairly easy.
