Ancient Japanese Family Scroll - Help Translating

Hello, my wife's family has an old family scroll in Japanese characters that a few people we've asked have said is an older style. We haven't been able to find anyone who can help. Is anyone able to read these characters? I'll upload a few pictures but we have a video with all 8-10 feet of the scroll (or pictures of the entire scroll). We'd love to know what information is on it!
