How to report a major transcript error?
The source page shows Nova Scotia births, by child, with parents' information, including the marriage year of the parents.
However, the transcript/extraction below lists the events as marriages, not births. While the marriage YEARS (and places) are shown in the source page, the COMPLETE dates given are for births, not marriages.
I don't know how these transcripts are made, but if this were a spreadsheet, I'd say the column headers are wrong and/or some categories are automatically entered.
The error has resulted in some wild conclusions.

The name in this record has been incorrectly transcribed. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6X4N-GZ2H It should be Petrus Adolph de la Rey (not Petmis!). He is the same person as this: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6NQ3-8K6B

@THERESAMCRAE The error occurred when the collection was prepared for publication and is not one we typically correct. Since the Edit option does not let you change the event type, I’d suggest you click to view the image. From there, add it to Source box and attach as a source from source box—bypassing the erroneous index. Another option is to copy the URL of the record image and use it to create a source.
