Saving vital info changes.

This must be a new change in the way you save event info changes.

For example updating to standardized place name. Whatever the reason.

I have hit that save icon about 100,000 times in the past. Might be closer to a million.

I am used to it being close, or closer than this most recent change.

Now the save icon is lower right. As far away as you can get the save button from the area you are updating.

To make it worse where it used to be save is the "Delete xxx"

I have really tried not to select it, but habit is taking over.

PLEASE REVERSE THIS ORDER. Put the delete far away and update, or save where the delete is now at.

Message to programmers. Please make something you do all of the time faster closer. Something you do rarely father away. Its a time and wrist saver on my mouse, and me.

Thanks Nolan

Update to my message. I found out this only shows up when you edit birth. The delete event that is.

If you are seeing this in the new person page, you may want to repost this in the group in the community specifically for sharing feedback about the New Person Page.

Interesting change. This is brand new so definitely post your comments on the group specifically handing the new person page feedback. Last time I edited which was just a few days ago, the delete option was either right under or right over the See All Changes link. I can't remember which.

The advantage with having it moved into the footer of the editing box is that you never have to scroll to get to it. It also puts the delete link in exactly the same spot in every editing popup.

Since it is such a recent change, I would think it would be easy for them to change it back if enough concerns are reported.

I agree with Gordon on them being stationary in the footer. Great improvement.

But I also agree with Nolan: "PLEASE REVERSE THIS ORDER." Swapping the save and delete positions would be much handier and makes sense.

They would then be in the same places as the old version as far as left and right but leave them in the footer.
