Heads up about an indexing error and how about creating an opportunity to correct errors!
viewing this record:
"Vermont, Town Clerk, Vital and Town Records, 1732-2005," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPQL-DW4Q : 3 March 2021), Edward Arthur Schlak and Deborah Ann Martin, 27 Jul 1885; citing Marriage, Vermont, United States, various town clerks and records divisions, Vermont; FHL microfilm 005487978.
The dates on the page are, ex: 7/27/85, which should be 7/27/1985
However, the indexed date for the above is 7/27/1885, as well as all other dates on the page being 18## instead of 19##. This may cause someone to make an error. This is on image pages 74 and 75.
In case someone happens to come across this.
There is not a way to correct errors like this. Perhaps a correction function could be added to the software? Just an idea!

Thanks for reporting this error. It is possible to edit some of the info on some record indexes. You can edit the record of the above link. Click the blue Edit button in the black header to edit the marriage date.
If you need to post any new comments or bug reports go to https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/familysearch-help to find the topic you want and then click the Ask a question (blue +) button.

Thanks for answering, but it's not working. When I click on edit above, it simply opens a page with a .png image of what's displayed above. None of the edit buttons do anything, it's only an image?

Please disregard the above. I figured out what you meant and made the change and it worked. My brain is not working too well today. ;-)
Thank you! I appreciate the tip. Now that I know, I'll be able to share with others as well.
