What if the source linker links the primary person of the source to the incorrect person?
This is a situation in my family tree where a Death Notice is attached to the father of the deceased instead of to the child whose death is the subject of the notice. How is this corrected? Does FamilySearch have a way of correcting this or how do I rectify it? There does not seem to be an option to correct this mis-link.
This query specifically refers to PID JKW6-ZMG (the father of the deceased)
Doctor Hendrik Willem Dieperink (1830–1899) | Person | Family Tree | FamilySearch
with the deceased being KL67-4H9 (his daughter)
Maria Magdalena Clasina Johanna Lucia Dieperink (1864–1931) | Person | Family Tree | FamilySearch
and the hint attached to his name should be attached to his daughter.
Please could somebody kindly assist me to correct this?
Thank you kindly in anticipation.
Warm regards,
Lizanne Ellis

That hint is correctly placed: it's an index entry for her father as found on her death record. The reason there isn't a corresponding hint on her profile page is that her entry in the same index (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPSK-1WTK) is already attached to her profile.
I don't know why this particular index is so ...disassociated. Each person's entry is completely separate from everyone else's, regardless of them coming from the same image of the same film, and the association with the image is one-way: if you go to the image itself (or rather, the first image out of nearly a dozen relating to her death and estate), it says "no indexes are available". But this is a blessing in disguise: it means that the "Attach to Family Tree" button is available, which allows you to create a connected set of source citations that you can attach to each person mentioned. If you add a transcription or summary to the Notes/Description field of that citation, and later notice a typo, you only have to correct it once: it'll be fixed on every profile it's attached to. And if you remember to check the box for adding it to your source box, you can add another instance of the citation to other profiles later. So for example if somewhere down the line you figure out the identity of the witnesses to her will, you can easily add the same source citation to their profiles, too.
