Indexing: Event Place entry

In reviewing Tract Books, 1800–1955 [Part B] [M3HF-FFR], the "Event Place" is recorded from the "Description" column in the body of the batch (not from "top of the tract book form" per purple instructions.

Might a little change be helpful? Thanks, Bro Jim

    I am glad you have brought up this question. I would like to add to the question not give an answer sorry.

    Why wouldn't we index Minot, which is the location given under the To Whom Patented column?

    This fits the description of city or larger and appears to be the location where the transaction took place.
