Hello,

I am not sure if you are aware, but I have noticed that Oneida County, NY Land Records are under Herkimer County, and not Oneida Co. Can this be fixed? Also, are there Herkimer County Land records available on FamilySearch?

Thank you!

@MVanBuren We'd be happy to look at the error if you can provide us with a URL or enough information that we can get to the specific place where the place is recorded incorrectly.

As an FYI, Oneida County< NY was formed from Herkimer County in 1798.

Here is where the Oneida County Land Records are now: https://www.familysearch.org/search/image/index?owc=M7HG-YM9%3A358135701%3Fcc%3D2078654. This is the Herkimer County Land Record Page.

I believe the Oneida County Land Records should be here: https://www.familysearch.org/search/image/index?owc=M7HG-RZ4%3A358132601%3Fcc%3D2078654

Also, I am curious if the Herkimer County land records are available on FamilySearch.

    Thank you!
