This post is for you to place any NEW issue that you might be experiencing after the engineers applied their fixes. Thanks!
I have encountered a problem that is possibly related. Results went away and then came back.
In the meantime, a search with nothing but 'Hungary' (exact search) specified brought back only a bit more than 6,000 results, seemingly limited to names starting with K.
@InBudapest Try searching the country/location field for 'Hungary' - see if you get more results.
Hi @genthusiast, it does work fine most of the time. Right now the same search returns more than 62 million results.
This was a temporary glitch, I just thought that it might provide some additional information for those who look into these issues.
I wonder if engineering is changing how the 'Any' Life Event returns results? To me the definition and the duplication of Any fields has been a little ambiguous/unpredictable in the past.
If so- I hope the new 'Any' Life Event field criteria/definition is updated.
Similar issues again, right now. First, the same 6,343 results were shown for Hungary.
Then it went back to 62 million, but for any specific name it shows unrealistically low numbers. Like, for Kovács (Smith in Hungarian) it returns 3,599 results. When using a wildcard character (Ková*s) to account for a different spelling as well, it returns even less: 2,877.
Makes absolutely no sense. The search function is broken.
