How to index name of unnamed child

I am seeing records where the name is recorded as b/t first name, last name. These are records with the same birth and death date (so either a stillborn child or one that lived less than one day) so I am assuming that b/t means born to. I have been marking the first name and surname of deceased as blank but I just wanted to see if there is any official word on this or if the general consensus is that this would be right as I don't see how a record with no names to identify it would be helpful to someone searching for information.

The field helps should provide the instructions of what to do in the case of given and surnames for the children. But, it would not be unusual to have them be blank fields. The record will be searchable when the parent(s) names are included.

Field helps are accessed by clicking on the purple question marks that appear each time you click on an entry field.

I believe you are correct, b/t means born to. I have encountered that in indexing projects. The names of the parents will follow it. The name of the child is blank.
