question for Hannie Nel. I have been indexing and reviewing African records for years. I find the

South Africa—Dutch Reformed Church Registers, 1660–1970 [Part D][M3FF-VY2] challenging but I am familiar with the names and spelling. The challenge is whether an old 1818 record is a birth record or baptism record.

The samples given are incomplete concerning the older records. I would love to join the group and get further trained.

sincerely,

Sister Lloyd

    Dear Sister Lloyd,

I feel very honored that you want training. A big yes and I will teach you all about what is baptisms etc. How do we contact each other?

Something has been done so the email address I gave you will not get accepted on her, yet it was accepted yesterday.

    I teach during the week.

    Sincerely,

    Hannie Nel
