Returned Batch

After Indexing Burial/Death entries in Cumberland England Uk, years dated 1847 and 1848 of 17 entries, completing both pages, and doing a Quality Check the only error I found was that page 1 was blank which I started on page 2 instead of 1, and I am assuming then that this is why I was unable to Submit the batch. I, therefore, did a Return Batch.

First entry name: Joanne BLACK

Last entry name: Fanny ?

"Would those entries, therefore, be returned as not having been done?"

I appreciate your feedback.

Check out this FAQ post (link below) that is also pinned in the top area of this Indexing Q&A section. It talks about common issues that can trigger a submission error.p (e.g. often undeleted totally blank “extra” entries). Sometimes a batch comes with more blank entries than you need, and you jus delete the extras to satisfy the “submission error.”

As to what happens to your indexing work because you returned your batch - it will be picked up by another Indexer to be completed. It is not lost.

Without knowing your Batch Code I can’t be more specific about your particular batch. See Help>Share Batch to learn how to share your Batch Code so a potential Helper can/could look at your batch in detail (in the future).

    Good luck.
