Regardless of the reason, one's family tree is not simple. In the 1700's and 1800's you had many families with 12-15 kids, because of illness or death you had1 father, with children from 2-4 wives. Today you have many mixed families due to different reasons and trying to print family charts are not easy. In my case I am trying to print a genealogy record for my wife's great grandson, but because he's not my direct line, I have not found a way to do this. I have also looked at Ancestry, My Heritage and other programs but to no avail.

It would be great if FamilySearch would allow you to check or mark what line you want to print with more print options.

Does FamilySearch also you export to a GEDCOM file?
