Stop hiding Bishop Transcripts
I see that Familysearch has decided to map records from the Bishop Transcripts of Cheshunt DGS 7566608 onto records from the Parish Records of Cheshunt DGS 7567492. Referring requests for records from 7566608 (This record was a duplicate and has been retired. We recommend using the most current copy.) to the Current record DGS 7567492.
Is this an AI thing or a cunning ploy by FS to reduce Storage space by eliminating Bishop Transcripts?
Personally, I'd like to know that the Bishop Transcript is there and that the record agrees with the Parish Register.
