Descendancy Chart is broken

When using the Descendancy Chart and you've scrolled down the chart, and find an ordinance to reserve, you click the temple icon, click Request and the Church Policy pops up. That's where the problem occurs.

Last week, you could click Accept and after the Church Policy disappears, and you would REMAIN on the row with the temple icon you just clicked.

NOW, when you click Accept, the Church Policy disappears and you get repositioned on top/first row of the Descendancy Chart - That's bad, because now you have to scroll back down the chart and try to find the place/row you were at before clicking the Request.

If you have 4 generation selected and have many temple icon opportunities to check out, starting back at the TOP of the Descendancy Chart EVERY time you click "Accept" is very annoying, frustrating, and as a consultant, my patrons are refusing to use the chart.

Please change things back to the way they were a week or so ago.

Thank you,

Ward Temple and Family History Leader

@RSJohns Thank you for your submission. It has been passed on to the proper Project Manager for review.

@Clif Bergmann Is this at all related to the new pedigree views?

@MaileLoveland: This issue should not be related at all to the work being done on the portrait/landscape pedigree views.

@RSJohns: I appreciate your noting of a timeframe where the functionality changed. I see a code deploy from the 17th that was meant to update an unrelated part of the site, but may have also pulled in additional unexpected changes. It appears that when the single temple icon is told to update, every descendant generation is also updating for some reason, which can definitely cause the jumpiness you are observing. We will look into the issue.
