Read guidelines but feel I'm missing something. First, do we index Affidavits? Second, if we do, and the first batch begins with an affidavit belonging to a previous batch, how do I mark it? It's not a duplicate image or a no extractable data. Thanks for your help.

In the instructions under what to index we read:

    • Index all grave applications, registers of persons buried or cremated, and all records that refer to a deceased person.

From those instructions I would say that if the Affidavit refers to a deceased person it should be indexed. I would index the deceased's name appropriate date or dates and cemetery name if given.

Without a batch code and not being able to see the specific image I cannot be more specific. The batch code is the group of letters and numbers at the end of your batch title. XXXX-XXX

    hope this is helpful🙂
