Hi , I am new to using this message board but would help with a technical point I cannot resolve. I have found an extension to my family tree developed /controlled by another person. I would like to contact this person via email. When I tried to do this via their name on the top RHC messages are said to be blocked , but I could contact "Technology". Now my problem is that I can not find a place / process / method as to how I can contact "Technology". How is this done and could an improvement be made as to a method or access point so "Technology" can be contacted.

Thanks etc Bob.

If you're talking about the Family Tree on FamilySearch (and not one of the archived files under Genealogies), then there is no "owner of a family tree", and no individual who controls any part of it: it's an open-edit collaborative endeavor.

To contact the contributor of a conclusion, click the username and then click Message. This uses FS's internal messaging system and is available for all individual users.

In addition, some users make their email addresses public, so that they show up on that person card when you click their usernames, but in my experience this is rare. If the email is available, it has an envelope icon and appears at the bottom of the popup.
