When indexing Winconsin births, there is a field for multiple births. The drop-down menu lists single, twin, triplet, etc., but the purple question mark says, "If the document does not indicate whether more than 1 child was born at this time, press Ctrl+B to mark this field blank."

So do we mark single if a multiple birth is not indicated or do we mark it blank? Kind of confusing.

The Field Help (the purple question mark) is the instruction for that field, so follow what the Field Help says.

Thank you. I've been marking them blank.
