Errors in the Famous Relatives Ancestry
Hi, I continue to see obvious errors in the Famous Relatives activity. Here's one example that's used to indicate lineage to Martin Luther King. Is there a way to report these errors to FamilySearch so they can be corrected? I've found others in the past whenever I go in to try to verify lineage. Thank you.

All the information on this Famous Relatives page is taken directly from Family Tree. Anyone interested in correcting it, preferably family, can do so. If all the links from you back to John Pepper Atkinson are correct, then you are family. Feel free to go to his Family Tree page, do the necessary research, and make the needed corrections. Be sure to attach all the sources that document the accurate information.

Looking briefly at this record, there appears to be a lot of conflicting and erroneous information and a lot of work to be done. Clicking on Find Similar People shows a record that appears to be a duplicate or two brothers thoroughly mixed up. (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/K833-GQQ) Someone has marked these as not a match.
FamilySearch does not correct errors in Family Tree. That is our job. I wish you success in correcting and improving these records.

We as users are the responsible parties to make any corrections to FamilySearch.
if we see mistakes and errors - no need to report them to anyone - the people who fix them are people like YOU and ME.
