I have one person, or 2 people that I can't figure out. Is there a place where I can ask for help?

Just provide their details here - Family Tree ID references if they have been added to the tree - or as much detail as you can. A number of members of the FamilySearch Community will enjoy the challenge of clarifying the situation - say in confirming "two" individuals are actually one and the same, or in helping provide evidence of their true identity / identities.

Please take care if they are likely to be still living, as there could be privacy concerns if you reveal too much about them in those circumstances.

There are groups you may want to join and ask, depending on where your ancestor was from. For example, there are groups specializing in Irish, or Italian, or New York research.
