Word Perfect documents
Word Perfect documents don't upload in Memories as file wpd. is not supported. Would it be possible to make it supported in Memories?

No text documents are supported. Not even Word (.docx). Here is a list of common text file types: https://fileinfo.com/filetypes/text None of them can be uploaded.
There is no way FamilySearch can build in support for opening all of those in any legible fashion. And there is no guarantee that a file in any of those types could still be opened by anything five year from now, except maybe .txt or .rtf. I'm sure that is why the only document type you can upload is .pdf.

We spoke with the product manager and @Gordon Collett's response is accurate.

One thing I forgot to mention. I have not seen a word processing program recently that cannot export a file as a PDF document. Here is how you do this in WordPerfect: https://kb.corel.com/en/128716
The entire point of PDF (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF) is to allow documents to be independent of which application created them.
