Access to FamilySearch center
I've been trying to get access to the local Enterprise Alabama FamilySearch center since early December. When I first called, I was told that operation had been suspended until after the holidays, when I called back last week (6 January), I was told that the person I was speaking with no longer was involved with that service, and I was given a different number to call. That number just rings "busy" continuously.
Can anyone tell me if that particular FamilySearch center is still in operation? Additionally, if I can't get access locally, is there anyone willing to retrieve a couple of documents for me? No searching involved, I have the file numbers...

Each center's opening/reopening is in the hands of the local stake/church/bishop.
I only found out that my local FHC had reopened by calling at a time that it had been open, before COVID closure, and someone happened to answer the phone.
The records that you want to access may be available from the Remote Lookup Service. Family History Library Remote Access Services Request (Page 1 of 4)
Also, depending on what records you need, they may be available by visiting an Affiliate Library. Many public library systems are now part of the Affiliate Library system. FHC

You can also go to most Church meetinghouses now and get access to restricted records and premium websites. Take your own laptop and connect to liahona. Then go to https://www.familysearch.org/centers/portal and it will give you a link for installing the required Chrome extension or Firefox add-on.
