Refining search results to filter for possible matches in FamilySearch
I'm trying to enter all available records in a specific geographical area into FamilySearch, so I do: Search>Records> Collection Title (South Carolina, for instance). I select from the popup menu (ie., Deaths, 1915-1966). In the Search box on that page, I enter the name of the county in Place. The search results come up on a page like https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&offset=20&q.anyPlace=Pickens&f.collectionId=1417492
The little people heads (View possible tree matches icons) are very handy. But there are generally only 1 or 2 on a page. One more step which would speed up the work considerably is to make a search field toggle on the right side for showing only those which are possible matches in FamilySearch.

I think you want to filter historical records Search results by status: attached to a profile in Family Tree; a possible match to a profile in Family Tree; and neither attached nor a possible match.
I have asked for that feature myself for years. If you scroll down here a bit you'll find some of my Suggested Ideas about that; please upvote any you like.

They sure are! They are a recent new feature, and a piece of the package I've been asking for, so I am hopeful that more pieces will be forthcoming.
Meanwhile, may I suggest that when you find any hints, you then immediately work the entire family in Family Tree until you have exhausted all hints on all profiles? Then refresh the Search results page. That is efficient because it catches many other historical records in the same community with minimal additional effort.
