South Africa Probate record
I have a relative William Myles, born 1850 in Fermoy, Ireland (PID: L5X9-73Q) who left his homeland as a young man. There are sources and family stories suggesting he went to South Africa.
I found this probate record today from the Transvaal:https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS4F-F9QV-K?i=1033&cc=2520237&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AQ5P1-Q4PZ
It records that a William Myles born c.1852 in Ireland died in 1896 in the Transvaal.
Can anyone make out the name of the hospital where he died? And what additional sources may be available from that time and place to help me prove or disprove that he is the William Myles from Fermoy?
Thank you very much

Good morning - the place/hospital appears to be Levdsdorp, which was in North Transvaal. There is a map, but the site may take a LONG time to load and/or stall out. http://theses.univ-lyon2.fr/documents/lyon2/2007/vasquez_jm/pdfAmont/sudafrika_atlas_der_katholischen_weltmissionnen_1932.pdf
I was finally able to download and have a copy.
Attaching a snip showing the location

May also be written Leydsdorp https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leydsdorp

Any chance of a newspaper notice of his death? I've had good fortune in finding a parish or townland listed in the newspaper notice.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of "unknowns" in that record, so he may not have had any family/friends to supply info.
I don't know if there may be more information available by contacting the Master of the Supreme Court: https://www.ancestry.com/sharing/1030607?mark=c5d8bb9da5ffbfbe2e81560d443274371ce5195a6fc95568102c4f576a85ed83

Thank you very much @Áine Ní Donnghaile for deciphering the place name as Levdsdorp. I will research to see if there are any additional records that may help.

You're welcome - I asked a Dutch genealogist friend for help, and she knew immediately.
