Incorrect information on indexed Film # 008041192
Over 120,000 records incorrectly attributed to the country Barbados. When searching for any given surname between 1539-1988 for the country Barbados the index for "England, Middlesex Parish Registers, 1539-1988" (film# 008041192) returns some 120000 records for at least two parishes "Stepney", "Christ Church". The parishes in this record are are actually in Middlesex (London), England and this index needs correcting.

Autostandardization strikes out again. Random example:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:68QH-BSZF
As you can see, there are two Event Place fields in the index. The one labeled "(Original)" is what was actually indexed: Stepney. The other one is where the dart landed when the bot picked a location from the Places database.
FamilySearch unfortunately continues to deny the vast scope of the problem and expects to fix the millions of errors one at a time, based on user reports here in the Community.

@Caribbean Historian; as indicated, you have found another instance of a place name, auto-standardization error. I will add this issue to the queue to be reviewed and resolved. Unfortunately, it would be impossible to suggest when the issue will be fixed, given the backlog of related issues.
If you so choose, you can avoid the auto-standardization error by saving the source record to your Source Box, directly from the original image. You can then attach the source to the Family Tree record for your ancestor.
If you are unfamiliar with the Source Box, the follow articles, in the Help Center, will be of value.
