I am indexing births and baptism and the same name is recorded twice, if I omit one will the reviewer change it?

This applies if the same name and info are on consecutive lines: If all of the indexed data is exactly the same for both records, the system will automatically delete one of them after you sumit it because it only takes that record for that document being in Family Search once for a researcher to find it, even if that name and info is on the document several times. The researcher will see that once he pulls up the image. If the reviewer doesn't understand the guideline to only enter the same name once (if all the other indexed info is the same), he might add it to your indexed batch, but it will just be deleted again.

If the same name and indexed info aren't on consecutive lines, but have other names between, the system won't delete the second one, but some projects say not to repeat the same names. Read your project instructions to see if it specifically says that and follow the instructions and don't worry about the reviewer not following the instructions.
