how do i find the english translation to the header of the zimbawee records.

the information in the record is in english but the header in in african and i dontg know what they mean. is there a link to a english dictionary to translate african to english.

    The Zimbabwe records I have seen have Latin headers.

    There are many Latin word lists online. Here is one: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/img_auth.php/3/35/Latin_Genealogical_Word_List.pdf

    Hi orr bryce,

    If you are working on the Zimbabwe, Archdiocese of Harare—Church Records, 1892–2021 [Part C, you should study the examples given in the project instructions. In the examples the translations are shown by comparing the column headings with the items indexed list. There is also an explanation given at the bottom of the list.

    Yes, the headings are in Latin as Áine Ní Donnghaile points out above.
