Need help in deciphering words on Marriage record
These are the names of the parents of the groom on this 1869 Marriage record from St. Mary's church in Detroit, Michigan. I am having trouble deciphering the mother's last name. The father is Joannes Wich.
This is the groom, Henrich Wich. I would like help is deciphering his birth town in Bavaria. He was 26 at the time of his marriage.
Thanks for any help.

The link in my original comment is to a town written "Marxheim" and could be the place meant. Stadt in German = city in English.

@MCGallagher Are you able to share the URL of the record? It's always easier when we can see the full page or adjacent pages, to compare the script.
That said - the mother's given name is Margaretha, and I believe the town is Marksheimstadt.

The surname appears to be EVETSCH. If it is, it appears to be quite rare, as I can find only one instance in FamilySearch indexed records. I also found just one instance of this exact spelling using the FIND function. VETSCH is more common, but the first letter appears to be an "E". However, I just found there is also a surname GRETSCH.
Interestingly, there is another surname, in the second screenshot, ending in "etsch", but the first letter(s) of that are less clear.

Thank you for your responses. This document was sent to me as a pdf document, so there is no URL. It appears that the entries on this document were entered by different people, so it is hard to compare script.
I cannot find a town in Germany called Marksheimstadt. If you found such a town, please tell me the location.

Thank you for the clarification. I am not too experienced in interpreting these clues.
