A rearrangement of the screen would reduce the number of clicks an individual needs to make to perform a search. The rearrangement would allow a click into First Name, a 2nd click into Last Name, a 3rd click into Birth Year, etc. As it is currently designed the 3rd non-data entry click is needed to open Birth and a 4th non-data entry click to open Death, then you need to tab through the Place fields.

Place the search button below the name fields. Have the Life Events of Birth and Death below the Search button with the Years before the Place.

The MORE OPTIONS would open the screen to add Marriage, Residence, Any; and to Add Family Members.
