How do I index an incomplete year such as 186-?

    Check the field helps by clicking on the purple question mark to be sure, but, most of them say:

    If you cannot determine the 4-digit year, index the 2-digit number. If you cannot determine the 2-digit or 4-digit year, press Ctrl+B to mark this field blank.

    So, you would mark the field blank when the year is incomplete.
