Can't access persons in my tree anymore

For the past week, I haven't been able to pull up any one of my family members to look at their personal information. I can see the names, dates etc when I'm looking directly at my tree, but when I click on an individual person to see their information individually, I instead get a blank page with small words up at the top which have an exclamation mark followed by: "Oops, something went wrong. Please refresh the page." Which I do, but nothing occurs other than the same message again and again. Is there something I can do to reset this or change something to stop this from happening?

Thank you for posting your question in the Community regarding an error message when attempting to view person pages in Family Tree. We are occasionally experiencing the same issue.

We find if we wait just a moment, the system corrects itself and displays the page. We tested your tree using Chrome, Edge and Firefox and experienced the error message one time while using Chrome. After that, we no longer saw the error message when opening person pages.

We believe this is a system "bug" that will be resolved. Please let us know if your problem persists.

It is always a good idea to troubleshoot as @Áine Ní Donnghaile advised when features in Family Tree are not working properly.

    Best wishes.

Have you tried the first basic troubleshooting step of accessing the tree with a different browser? If that works, then clearing the cache and/or cookies in FamilySearch will likely resolve the problem.

If you want to share a PID or two, someone else can access and help determine where the problem might be.

I am having exactly the same problem on Safari, but works ok on Firefox/Chrome/Edge (on a different m/c).

Until yesterday, or the day before, this was still an issue for me on Safari. Clearing cookies, history, etc., made no difference. Today everything seems OK again.

Fingers crossed it stays that way.

    Happy New Year everyone.
