Working on US, Minnesota—Veterans Grave Registrations and the 2 page record isn't matching up

It would probably be a good idea to post the batch code of the batch you are working on when asking a question to make sure you get the best possible answer. I believe the following covers your question.
hope this helps🙂
The general indexing guidelines give the following:
What to Do When Records Span 2 Images or to View Additional Images
- If the first record on an image begins on a previous image, don't index it. The record will be indexed as part of the previous batch. Start indexing at the first complete record.
- If the last record on an image continues to the next image, index the entire record, including what continues to the next image.
- To see the next image while continuing to index information for the current image, do the following:
1. In the top corner of the image window, in the vertical toolbar, click the Reference Images
icon.
2. Below the screen on the right, click a thumbnail next to the image you are currently indexing.
3. Index the record while viewing both images at the same time.
4. To exit split screen mode, in the vertical toolbar, click the Reference Images
icon.

Thank you for the suggestion, the batch I'm working on is US, Minnesota—Veterans Grave Registrations, 1930–1975 [Part B][M315-KGP]. I can see the previous record and next record, but I am not sure whether to index them or not. I think I understand how to do a record that is on 2 pages generally, but am confused when they are not in the same batch.

Hi @kristinaswenson1 When page 1 (the front) of the Grave Registration is on your right, the matching page 2 (the back side) will be +1 in the reference pages. Go ahead and use the Burial place and Cemetery Name on the +1 reference. When page 2 (the back side) is on your left, the matching page 1 will be -1 in the reference pages -- this record has been or will be indexed by another indexer. Mark this image (the left-hand image in your batch) NNED. I hope I haven't thoroughly confused you with my explanation. Give it a try and email me if you like, I'm on Utah time and I check community discussions every day 😎
