Fix an edit problem on 1880 US Census
When I edited the spelling of "Horris" to "Harris" on this 1880 US Census for the whole family, after the edit, only the head of family remains displayed. In the source linker, Joseph Harris is now matched with Elbert Christopher Harris and none of the rest of the family is shown, so the correct source link cannot be made. Detaching the source did not solve the problem. Can you fix it?

That record currently only has Joseph 'Harris' - the head of household in the displayed index. Previously - on Dec. 23, 2019 - the index had the entire household - and was attached through Source Linker to the rest of the family by David Robert. So the only one needing reattached was Joseph I believe. It is now reattached.
I am not sure when or why these changes were made to 1880 Census. Perhaps a FamilySearch representative can let us both know. @N Tychonievich

@Betty L Martin and @genthusiast This losing of the rest of the household when you edit a name in the household is a known issue that we have reported to the group that can get it fixed. Unfortunately, we do not know how long it will take for them to get things working correctly. Meanwhile, you might want to use the census images as your sources instead of relying on the record details pages and the Attach button. To use an image as a source, open the image. In the top-right, click Source Box and add the image to your Source Box. Then, you can attach from source box to your ancestors in Family Tree. Here are Help Center articles that have additional details:
