Good morning, again, Mr. Nauta -
I received recently some timelines about the interesting times my grandmothers lived in, i.e., WWI, the depression, and so on. I'd like to develop such a system for my wife's family and also be able to add in our own events in our families which were also very challenging; i.e., the death of a child, moving from Chicago to Milwaukee, the 1920 Kansas dustbowl, death of a spouse, the St. Valentine's Day massacre, and the like.
Is it possible to use that format and add to or recreate such timelines? Also, I have some of this in paper format in the genealogy compendium we created but "tomorrow's" children, great and great great grandchildren would like it better in electronic format, rather than hunting and peeking thru all the pages of our book.
Any help or guidance about this would be welcomed. Thanks again for your work in all this...Family Search (FS) has been one of my two best resources regarding all this (Ancestry.com is the other) and I appreciate the help provided by both.
