FamilySearch albums
I make heavy use of FamilySearch albums to group and categorize my many FamilySearch albums instead of just tossing everything together and then not be able to find stuff or items of a similar nature.
I have occasionally wondered why FamilySearch doesn’t allow for creating albums whereby you include profiles from FS FamilyTree (instead of memories items)
For example grouping deceased people of interest into folders whereby the people in the folder have sonme common characteristic or focus of research
Examples:
People I need to fix errors on
People in my tree that lived in Nantucket
People in my tree that had family bibles

the FOLLOW option would even be nicer if the followed profiles could be categorized into more than just one group with all the people you follow
as far as I know - it is just one big bucket - witn no categories/description for WHY I am following a given person.

If you click on the 3-dot menu in the Following list - you can add Label(s) to a person.
There are some predefined labels you can select - or you can create a new label (up to 10). You can apply multiple labels to a person.

Ok but am I then able to group people with the same label together somehow / and find the them all together later just using the label?

Yes, you can add that same label to others you want to group under that label. To Remove a label just click on it to see that option. And you can then search/sort the Following list by that label:
So because New labels that you can create are limited to 10 - you have to plan what you want to add carefully or just expect to edit those 10 over time according to your plans.
