New details page
I love the way FamilySearch is always improving the site. The new details page has many advantages, however it is very frustrating to use. I will mention a few things I am concerned about:
Blue source box icons are not consistent with other tree views. They should be bold enough to see clearly. We teach people to identify source boxes and add them. The new faint blue icon is hard to see amid all the other information on the page.
The new page is almost cluttered with too much information. Simplicity is so helpful as we teach new people how to navigate the website.
Keep the colors bright! This is important to visual learners.
I wish I could share some suggestions with FamilySearch. I have taught 100's of people FamilySearch and love it. Please listen.
